Lead Awareness
The Lead Awareness manual covers the hazards and work activities of jobs involving lead exposure such as demolition or the cutting of steel covered with lead-based paint. This manual is intended as providing awareness to workers and does not comply with EPA or OSHA training for workers who may be potentially exposed to elevated levels of lead. (PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW.)
Course length: 8 hours

PLEASE NOTE: If the course is presented solely as a lead awareness course, it does not comply with EPA’s training requirements for lead abatement training for target housing or child-occupied facilities. In order to work on residential lead abatement projects, trainees must undergo training by an approved lead abatement training provider certified by the EPA or proper state authority.
