Hearting Protection

The Hearting Protection course instructs trainees in ways to protect themselves from loud and unnecessary noise on the job. They learn how noise is measured and the different types of noises. Health and safety issues are covered, with emphasis on monitoring noise levels and exposure limits. Hearing conservation is discussed in detail, including audiometric testing, recordkeeping, and controlling noise exposure.
