Part 48 Mine Safety and Health
The 24 hour Mine Safety & Health course covers the required topics under Title 30, Code of Federal Regulations Part 48; covering training requirements, except safety training specific to the nature of the employees’ job and pertinent to the actual site, equipment and machinery with which the employee will be working while in the Mine/Contractors’ employment.  Trainees should know and understand: MSHA, MIOSHA and the differences; find pertinent regulations appropriate for mining activities; understand the Part 48, Title 30 of the Code of Federal Regulations; know basic safety & health requirement of the standard; and Understand Miners rights according to MSHA regulations.
